Pure Mood is the fourth studio album by American shoegaze band Ringo Deathstarr.It was released on December 11, 2015, by Vinyl Junkie Recordings in Japan, and on January 20, 2016, by The Reverberation Appreciation Society (RVRB-024) in North America.
Between 1938 and 1944, Glenn Miller and His Orchestra released 266 singles on the monaural ten-inch shellac 78 rpm format. Their studio output comprised a variety of musical styles inside of the Swing genre, including ballads, band chants, dance instrumentals, novelty tracks, songs adapted from motion pictures, and, as the Second World War approached, patriotic music.
The band's next album, Pure Mood, was released on November 20, 2015, with The Reverberation Appreciation Society taking over as North American distributor. On March 27, 2020, Ringo Deathstarr was released as a self titled album on Club AC30. The single "God Help the Ones You Love" was released earlier that year to promote the album.
In 1994, the song was licensed to Virgin Records for the best-selling new-age music compilation album Pure Moods, which contributed to further exposure and "helped provide a multi-platinum bonanza" to the record company. In 1998, a special-edition 10th-anniversary remix single was released.
