The school derives its name from Captain Charles M. Weber, the founding figure of Stockton city. Founded in 1856, Sacramento High School moved several times. In 1922, construction began at its current location on 34th Street. It opened at this location in 1924 and continuously served the growing neighborhoods of Downtown Sacramento, Midtown, East Sacramento, River Park, College Greens, Tahoe Park and Oak Park until 2003.
It is the newest high school in Stockton Unified School District in the last 50 years. The school was dedicated on August 18, 2005. The school initiated its first classes in August 2005 starting with only Freshman and Sophomore classes, then added a Junior class during the 2006–07 school year with the addition on the school's first varsity teams.
The main building of the old high school, which became Stockton Junior High School in 1948, was deemed unsafe and demolished in 1966. The rest of the buildings were not earthquake safe and abandoned and demolished. Commodore Skills School opened on the grounds in 1979 and later moved to the building that was formerly Webster Middle School. [1]

Christian Life College (CLC) is a private, non-profit four-year undergraduate college located in Stockton, California. The college was formerly known as Western Apostolic Bible College until 1980. As of the 2018–2019 school year, the college had 166 students with 52% female and 48% male. [1]
