  3. To whomever invented Healthstream modules : r/Residency - Reddit

The preassessment quizzes were basically the highest stakes exams I've ever taken in my life. Score above 80% and you get to skip the whole module. Get just two questions wrong and you've doomed yourself to a tedious interactive session on OHSA regulations that you violate every day in the OR when moving patients. 13.

Healthstream is a scam. Same for Relias. There is absolutely no reason for me to have to have 23 log ins and passwords because I’ve worked at different facilities. They should build the account for the nurse and then the hospital can send the assigned list of mandated training and if you’ve already done it within the last year, boom ...

Yes, that must be a select all. 5. Award. Bikelikeadad. • 4 yr. ago. Most of the time these quizzes are written by hospital educators, quality team, or some other employee. Personally I hate it when people write quizzes like this, its like it was too hard to think of wrong answers that aren’t ridiculously stupid.

  8. Healthstream and 1st week : r/TravelNursing - Reddit

The snow made things more complicated but yes, I agree with other posters that the first week is busy with getting access, required testing, facility & unit orientations, etc. Expect that nobody at the facility talks to each other and that the schedule for each in-hospital day may differ because someone forgot to assign you access, didn't give you the right online modules, etc.

It's different in different states and countries. In general, you can do anything for the unspecified education credits; I usually try to make it something relevant to my work but anything that's approved as nursing continuing education counts as hours. Rn.org 20 bucks. You can get all of your credits.
