The school is named for the late G. Raymond Chang, third Chancellor of Toronto Metropolitan University (known at the time as Ryerson University) and Director of CI Financial. The Chang School's offices are located in Heaslip House on the Toronto Metropolitan University campus. In 2003, Open College was merged into the Chang School.
The university also provides continuing education services through the G. Raymond Chang School of Continuing Education. The institution was established in 1948 as the Ryerson Institute of Technology , named after Egerton Ryerson , a prominent contributor to the design of the public school system and teacher's college in Canada West .
In 2004, Reville began teaching for the School of Disability Studies at Ryerson University (now Toronto Metropolitan University); one of his courses was called A History of Madness and the other Mad Peoples' History which received the Canadian Association for University Continuing Education Award of Excellence in 2011.

Sheridan College Davis Campus. The Davis campus is located in Brampton (7899 McLaughlin Road) completed in 1977, and serves approximately 12,167 students. The former name is Brampton Campus. It is named in 1992 after former premier of Ontario William G. Davis, who created the college system and was from Brampton himself.
