This scientist will be engaged in research projects in oncology as well as rare genetic diseases and will also help maintain and process samples for the MGH Medical Genetics Biorepository. Our oncology program is currently directed at understanding the role of microRNAs in regulating the leukemic stem cell niche. Our rare disease program develops tailored in vitro functional analyses of candidate and known genes.The successful candidate will be a results-focused, team-oriented, creative, bench scientist, able to excel in a fast-track environment. He or she must be self-motivated, detail-oriented and exhibit strong problem-solving skills.
