Must be a graduate of an approved diagnostic medical sonography program with a minimum of five years’ experience; additional clinical experience or credentials may be considered in lieu of some education. Must have specialty registry through ARDMS or CCI. Current BLS certification, AHA is also required. Dual registries preferred (ex. ARDMS: Pediatric Echo, Fetal Echo, Adult Echo OR CCI: Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer (RCCS), Registered Cardiac Sonographer, Advanced Cardiac Sonographer (ACS).
