Anchored Science by Mi-STAR is a middle school science curriculum motivated by a vision for the future in which science is taught and learned as an integrated body of knowledge that is applied to address societal issues. The curriculum incorporates all the best that the Next Generation Science Standards have to offer, while empowering students to use science and engineering practices to address real-world issues.

Each unit features an integrated, NGSS-aligned assessment package. The Professional Learning program uses a variety of flexible, ongoing options to support teachers to implement the unit content, as well as to further expand their skillsets and knowledge base.
