The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) determines treatment strategies and delivers Speech Language Therapy services that identify, restore, and rehabilitate disorders of communication, cognition and swallowing to maximize a patient’s safety and independence.This role encompasses evaluation skills and techniques, analysis of patients, and application of speech therapy to maximize the patient's functional independence. The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be responsible for independent performance of medically based communicative and swallowing diagnostic and rehabilitative procedures on an outpatient basis.  There will be a strong emphasis on the assessment and treatment of impairments related to stroke, brain injury, progressive neuromuscular diseases, and voice disorders. Weekday and evening opportunities available, with the ability to provide coverage in multiple locations and settings.
