Verify part numbers and quantities, unloaded from your vehicle, to the customer, match the customer invoice. Any errors, you will be responsible for correcting when possible, up to returning to the store and taking the missing part to the customer. Outside salesman and customer must be notified immediately of any shortages or undelivered parts. Responsible for ensuring all cash/C.O.D. invoices delivered are paid in full. Keep an accurate log of daily deliveries and pick-ups. Obtain recipient’s signature on each delivery entry. Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed. Advise parts manager if delivery trucks need major repairs and maintenance. Keep delivery vehicle clean, cab and cargo area is always neat and organized. Maintains professional appearance and attitude, promotes all Hunter branches, departments and co-workers in positive terms and is compliant with all customer rules while on their property.
