Set sail on a full-day boat cruise to explore Greek islands and beaches with plenty of stops to swim in the crystal-clear Ionian sea. Step on board a comfortable large cruiser in Nydri in the morning and enjoy a day which includes free time on Kefalonia Island and a stop at historic Papanicolis Cave. Begin your tour at Egremni beach. Enjoy your first swim stop of the day on this famous beach. Next, it's back on the boat to move onto Porto Katsiki for some pictures and swimming while moored offshore. Throughout your day, make use of the ship's onboard bar. Continue your journey to the seaside village of Fiskardo on Kefalonia island. Enjoy some free time to stop for lunch (own expense) and explore the scenic alleyways of this authentic village. After the lunch break, get back on the boat to head to your next swim stop at Afales Beach at Ihaca island. Be taken next to Papanicolis Cave at Meganisi Island and learn all about the submarine which hid there during World War II. Continue back to Nydri with a final swim stop in sight of the billionaires' island of Scorpios.

Depart from Nidri in the morning and sail through the bay past hillside villages like Vasiliki. Travel to the southern tip of Lefkas island. Stop to swim in the turquoise waters of Porto Katsiki and Egremni beach. Continue to the fishing village of Fiskardo on Kefalonia which survived the catastrophic earthquake of 1953. Have some free time to shop, stroll through alleys, or have a drink at a seaside café or bar. Head to island of Ithaki for more swimming. Ride into Papanikolis’ cave, where a submarine lay hidden during the 2nd World War. View the island of Scorpios, a private island that is shrouded in tragedy. Pass by Madouri or Poet’s island on the return trip.

Our cooking class starts with a welcoming morning coffee and tea. We start the fire in the wood burning oven and we begin to knead our dough. We then walk around Lefkada Micro Farm to harvest vegetables for our lunch and learn how our food grows. Get to know our trees, our vegetables and our animals. By the time we get back to the kitchen the oven is already hot and ready to bake our loaves. We prepare the vegetables for the Briam (roasted mixed vegetables) and place it in the oven. By the time the main dish is cooked we’ve already prepared the Greek salad and Tzatziki using the freshest vegetables, goat cheese and traditional sheep yoghurt from small local dairies. Finally, we sit together in our open air kitchen and enjoy what we’ve prepared.. An opportunity to take a break from the blue of our beautiful island and go green – enjoy the peaceful Greek countryside and off the tourist beaten beaches. Interact with fellow visitors and create a nutritious and delicious lunch together. Harvest organic vegetables of the highest quality and learn to prepare the iconic Greek dishes we all love. Discover the small paradise islands of Lefkada on a luxurious sailboat cruise. Enjoy a carefree day as the captain pulls the anchor and takes you out to sea. Take a dip in the water, try local food, and admire stunning views as you sail along. Meet your captain and board the sailboat to have a cup of coffee with a view of the bay. Leaving Nydri behind, reach your first stop, a secluded beach. After spending time swimming in the warm waters come back on board for an optional breakfast. Continue on to another nearby island to enjoy more swimming in turquoise waters. Admire the natural beauty of the islands and try to spot dolphins and seals following the boat. Have the opportunity to snorkel, take pictures or relax under the sun on the beach. When you are ready for lunch come on board and enjoy a complimentary drink and delicious local cuisine served by the friendly crew. After the meal, sail to the last stop of the cruise. If weather permits, raise the sails so that you feel the freedom of sailing with the wind. As you soak in the beautiful scenery enjoy your afternoon coffee and some fresh fruit before you return to the port of Nidri in the early evening.

The cruise departs from Nydri harbour on the east side of Lefkada island. Grab a coffee or a morning snack from the boats bar as you´ll cruise towards the first morning swim. The cave of Papanikolis is the second largest sea cave in Greece, and you´ll be able to cruise all the way inside for your morning swim. Definitely an experience to remember! As the journey continues towards Meganisi island and the village of Spartochori, you get to admire the beautiful scenery of the area and the majestic rock formations of the islands. At the village stop you have a chance to step back in time as the locals like to keep up their old ways of living. The old, narrow streets and beautiful little gardens in the backyards are already worth seeing themselves, but as the village is build high up on the hill, the view is definitely worth the few steps! And in case you are more of a beach lover, they got you covered with 2 beautiful beaches nearby. With a short cruising you´ll soon reach the highlight of your day; Gerakas beach. Plenty of time for sunbathing and swimming in the crystal clear waters on our secluded beach on the mainland of Greece. Free umbrellas provided for the ones who need a shade, and the crew prepares your delicious BBQ lunch while you enjoy yourself. All is served for you, right on the beach! With your stomach full on your way back home, you stop for one more swim on the famous "Onassis island". Hear a little bit of history of the rich and the famous people who have stayed on the island, and see how the island has developed until today. Fresh seasonal fruits and a local appetizer with a drink will be also served during the cruise before you reach back to your starting point in Nydri. This is definitely THE TRIP for the whole family! Short distances from place to place ensure, that the smallest passengers enjoy it too!

By the time we get back to the kitchen the oven is already hot and the dough is ready to be stretched, filled and rolled. We then prepare four different filling recipes: cheese pie with Feta cheese, wild greens pie with goat cheese, squash pumpkin pie with walnuts and raisins, Graviera cheese pie with honey and cinnamon. Finally, we sit together in our open air kitchen and enjoy what we’ve prepared. An opportunity to take a break from the blue of our beautiful island and go green – enjoy the peaceful Greek countryside and off the tourist beaten beaches. Interact with fellow visitors while we will teach you, step by step, how to make traditional mouth-watering Phyllo Pies. By the end of this class you will have acquired the know-how of these authentic Greek delicacies that you’ve seen at local bakeries and always dreamed of making yourself and take the skills and recipes back home with you.
