Bahrain To Get Floating Yacht Hotel
In November we learned that London would be getting a floating yacht hotel. Now Bahrain, which has been in the news lately as the adoptive home of Michael Jackson, will follow suit. The Gulf Daily News reports that Bahrain will be the second place in the world to host an Aquiva yacht project, a luxury yacht hotel. The yacht will be a permanently moored five-star floating hotel. This hotel will have over 100 rooms and include its own private island. The yacht which has no power of its own will be built in China and towed to Bahrain using a tug. The project should start in mid-2006 and be done in two years.
