I did another Valentino bag not that long ago but when I saw this Embroidered Pouchette I just couldn't pass it up. Blocks of dusty pink and black leather divide the bag into sections while beadwork that's both delicate and chunky and sewn together in lace-like patterns on the top flap contrasts sharply with gold hardware pyramid studs and multi-colored beadwork on the bottom. The wristlet strap is also studded and acts as a bracelet while being worn. Overall a bag that's mesmerizing and beautiful, and is sure to leave people speechless. $1,695

Christian Louboutin Capra Bikini Leather Wristlet, Handbag of the Day

The Christian Louboutin Capra Bikini Leather Wristlet makes me uncomfortable.

Should I mention that this handbag of the day is 9"W X 4½"H X 2"D, also comes in black, and is lined with Louboutin's signature blood-red (redder than this) lining? Should I praise the sparkle of the front metal logo and the cute 4½" wristlet chain? Should I make a comment about the pretty red shade of this Italian leather, or find some way to extoll the virtues of the credit card slot?

Should I giggle quietly at the term "bikini inspired" and leave it at that?

Or, should I mention that this bag looks exactly, exactly like an impressive cameltoe? Am I not supposed to talk about the outrageous crotchliness of this purse? It's like a 400 pound gorilla in the room.

I just don't know.

We've seen some rugs from Angela Adams before, but here is a peek at something else that she does well: handbags. And to be more precise in this case, this is her Wilma Wristlet and not a full-sized purse. It measures 8.5" x 4.5" x 1.25" and has an adjustable 50" shoulder strap if you prefer to carry it that way, but the wrist wrap is very convenient and the bad is small enough to easily fit into your hand. The leather wristlet has a zip closures, inner zip pocket and comes with a matching makeup mirror so you'll be able to do touch-ups with ease when necessary. It is available in four colors: chocolate, lavender, grass and navy (pictured). Price: $100.
