The hand-made winter hats from one of the last haute-couture chapeau makers are simple, bright and modern. They are available either leather or wool flannel stuffed with a wool filing and lined in pure silk. The silk hats come in bright blue, purple, orange and olive green and sell for $275. The leather hats in yellow, red or rosy pink are $475. They are available in New York City boutiques including DDC Lab and Jussara Lee and can also be ordered online.
