Diane Von Furstenberg Hayworth Tote, Handbag of the Day

Diane Von Furstenberg Hayworth ToteThe Diane Von Furstenberg Hayworth Tote is a fresh new take on the traditional tote bag, and one that will serve you well into the new year.

This bag won't arrive in time for the holiday parties, but it's just as well -- this bright white tote with rainbow stitching should be saved for 2010, when white (as well as beige, brown, and silver) will be everywhere and the splash of color will be much needed. We love the candy colors, the structured shape, and especially the eyelet details (but we'd leave that shoulder strap at home).

This bag would make a smashing holiday gift for someone who has everything; it's colorful and cheery, and there's something inherently luxurious about this much white leather.

The Diane Von Furstenberg Hayworth Tote is available for pre-order from Neiman Marcus for $725.00, and expected to ship no later than December 17 (just in time for Christmas).

Casio G-Shock Mini Deco-G Watch Is Easy Holiday Splurge

For any active minded woman who likes a little attention, it is hard to admit you don't like this watch. Yes, it is true that blingy Casio watches are a hot item of choice among Hip Hop elite, but there is a certain charm and allure to them that is hard to explain. I feel as though it is the gilding of an object that you would easily wear without the gilding.

Here is a relatively inexpensive way to get a nice looking wintry watch from Casio with a little "extra" on it. In addition to the famous Baby-G line of watches, there is also the G-Shock Mini collection of watches for women (don't ask me the differences between the two, cause I don't rightly know). This G-Shock Mini Deco-G Watch is covered in a mask of hand-selected Swarovski crystals, against a white case and strap, with a metallic pink dial. The case design is much more refined and chic than many of the visually more complex women's G-Shock watches out there, but it still retains all the functions you'd expect.

Displayed right on the dial is the time and date, as well is indicators for things like day light saving, alarm, and more. Other functions include a 48 city world timer, stopwatch, countdown timer, 5 daily alarms, and an awesome backlight. The watch is also 100 meters water resistant, and highly shock resistant. If you want one, each will only cost you $200, but they are only available at Bloomingdale's in Manhattan. For more information visit gshockmini.com.

Omega Constellation Ladies' Watches For The Holiday Season

Omega is really serious about promoting their new Constellation watches for women. I mean the watch line isn't anything new, but they just revamped the style of the watches, so they have been thoroughly updated. They even hired Cindy Crawford for one of the watch release parties. I must admit the line has always looked good on a woman's wrist, and here are two new interesting colors for the watch - purple and white on matching reptile skin straps.

The Constellation cases are elegant and simple, with the iconic "claws" on the sides. These versions have diamond decoration including diamonds on the bezel, as well as for each of the hour markers. The dials are deeply textured in an angled sunburst pattern done in purple with white. The large crown adds to Omega's preferred utilitarian look, and the straps have fold over clasps. The cases are likely in steel, and I am guessing the movements in these jewelry-like ladies' watches are Swiss quartz. Overall in pretty good taste making for suitable gifts. No specific price announced yet, but I imagine it will be close to what the new line these watches is going for.

Brahmin Les Femmes Izzie, Handbag of the Day

Brahmin Les Femmes IzzieThe Brahmin Les Femmes Izzie is a classic shoulder bag with simple details that make all the difference.

This modest, crocodile embossed handbag is 9" x 12.75" x 4.25" and has a sturdy shape -- made delicate and feminine by the gentle bowing at the top, accentuated by the arch of the front slide pocket with a turnlock closure.

The bright, goldtone hardware brings out the warmth in this "Dune" color. See the gallery below for a side view of the Izzie bag in its other shade, "Olive."

The inside is all business. There are zippered pockets, a pen loop, a keyclip, everything you need to make your accessories easy to find. The top zips shut and the bag hangs at a comfortable 11" drop. This is a perfect day-to-night bag.

The Brahmin Les Femmes Izzie is available from Brahmin Leather Works for $325.00. Check out more of the Les Femmes collection below!

Maitres du Temps Chapter One Black & White Watch Spotted

Ultra luxury watches are rare to spot, even online. We mostly have computer images to go off of, and the only time most of us will see many types of luxury watches are in select boutiques and on the rare collector (very rare). This is why it is so interesting to see this Maitres du Temps Chapter One Black & White watch in reality (well in a photograph). This real view of the $400,000 ultra watch proves that the timepiece lives up to its reputation. The Chapter One Black & White is an almost monochromatic "tuxedo" version of the Maitres du Temps Chapter One watch.

The Maitres du Temps Chapter One watch is hailed as a masterpiece by some people in the watch community which makes sense given the team of literal watch making masters behind the design both visually and mechanically. The Black & White version is in 18k white gold with a dizzying array of complications most notable of which are the polar placed moon phase and say of the week cylinder displays and manually wound tourbillon movement. The presence of the watch is breathtaking, because it is so luxuriously bold, and not necessarily because you have to love the design. Maitres du Temps did such a nice job making it a truly unique, yet classic feeling timepiece. The wrist in the image is lucky indeed!

Brahmin Les Roses Vittora, Handbag of the Day

Brahmin Les Roses VittoraThe Brahmin Les Roses Vittora is our favorite handbag in a line of close seconds. We love the Brahmin Les Roses collection -- it's sleek, suitable for work or a night at the opera, affordable, and we just love those croc embossed roses!

This sassy little purse is just 8" x 9.25" x 4" and has a lot of personality. You can remove the 24" strap (if you've firmly left the 80s behind) and carry it as a demure, free-standing case, or just fling it over your shoulder and watch the roses dangle at your hip.

The bag has a center divider pocket and a back slide pocket, as well as interior zips. The goldtone hardware accentuates the meticulous hand crocodile embossing. We think this style is youthful and bold, especially in this Dune shade -- it also comes in Black, Truffle, and Pecan.

The Brahmin Les Roses Vittora is available from Brahmin Leather Works for $275.00. See the gallery below for a side view and more items from the luscious Les Roses Collection.

Mercedes-Benz Unveils New Gift Collection In Brilliant White For The Holidays Mercedes-Benz makes holiday gifts for the whole family.

New this year, Mercedes-Benz has released a new gift collection in Brilliant White, with many items perfect for kids.

This little car will make any rugrat smile as he or she scoots around the brick driveway in style. Brand loyalty starts in the cradle, as they say, and this is a smart move for Mercedes-Benz.

"The high-profile whisper wheels fitted as standard on genuine Mercedes-Benz multi-spoke rims minimize the noise level."

The Brilliant White collection also features bicycles, hats, clothing, and a really great sled. See the gallery below for Luxist's favorite items from the new collection.

Porsche's New 'White Collection'

Filed under: Apparel, Gadgets, Luxury Cars & Autos, Sports

Think "Porsche Design" and you probably think sleek black accessories, but in a departure from their usual color scheme Porsche is launching the new "White Collection," which is all about crisp whites and shiny silvers. Chosen because it both represents purity and highlights the design of the product, the new white color theme uses all white materials mixed with technical metals like stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium. And besides premium materials and craftsmanship, the White Collection also features premium technology -- for example the mobile phone has a patented fingerprint feature and the lighters have a nozzle that makes them safe to use in inclement weather.

Botanical Wall Tiles

Ceramic wall tiles by Heather Knight. I like them because they're bright pure white, and because I love three- dimensional art hanging up on the wall. Inspired by nature, Heather Knight creates each delicate design by hand and works pretty much exclusively in porcelain. These tiles are porcelain and are modeled after different plants like turf, hydrangea, and noni (top row) and magnolia, durian, and lichen (bottom row). I'm not crazy about them displayed in a grid pattern like this but I think a grouping of them would definitely be gorgeous on almost any wall. $895 for the collection of 6.

$130,000 Platinum Cake

Earlier this month I thought the Apple Crate Cake was pricey at $185, but that suddenly seems like chump change when compared to this Platinum Cake designed by a Japanese pastry chef worth $130,000. It's a white cake draped in platinum necklaces, pins, pendants, and even edible platinum foils. The creator's name is Nobue Ikara, and the cake has been dedicated to several famous Japanese women (including actress Rinko Kikuchi) in an effort to encourage more women to wear platinum jewelry.

So is it doin' it for ya? Have a hankering for a platinum necklace?

Extreme Credit Cards for the Biggest Spenders in the World

Wealthy patrons with shopping addictions are a tempting customer base for creditors, and so more and more of them are coming up with ways to make their services attractive to the biggest spenders in the world. The Centurion card from American Express is the leading status symbol to date, with its classy black card made of titanium that comes with exclusive perks like a personal concierge (to help you plan your spending) and special treatment at all the top retailers.

But the Centurion, better known simply as the "Black Card," is getting some competition for the top of the prestigious credit card pyramid. Companies like Bank of America and Citigroup are coming up with their own versions, and it seems the greatest competition so far is from the Visa Stratus Rewards card, aka the "White Card." And in the U.K. there's always the Ozwald Boateng-designed Coutts & Co.'s World card from the same private bank Queen Elizabeth uses.

White Orbit Chandelier

Here's a chandelier that doesn't have many of the usual features you expect, like shimmering gold, glittering silver, or even just a sense of the traditional. It strikes me as industrial, and a little juvenile (like a science project), but somehow I still manage to like it. I'm a sucker for mini lights, and this White Orbit chandelier by Patrick Townsend is full of them in all different sizes. So although it may not be shimmering or glittery it definitely has "twinkly" in the bag, as well as apparently giving off "the BEST light." Originally created in 2003, it's currently available from Areaware -- but heads up it won't ship until September. 32"x32", $650.

Celine Anatomic Bag, Handbag of the Day

It's not entirely obvious as to what, if anything, gives Celine's Anatomic Bag its name, but it might have something to do with the fact that the design is very user-friendly, though "anatomic" is not the first term that would spring to mind. The bag has a long, rounded body with a top zipper and flap pockets at either end. Each feature allows for easy access. The shoulder straps are wide and flat, made of the same soft leather that the rest of the handbag is made of. It measures 17"L x 7.5"H x 7"W. Price: $1,600.

Diamond-Protected Data From Mii Stor

Let's face it; it's downright humiliating to be caught with a boring old plastic jump drive when the rest of the gadgets in your pocket are encrusted to the teeth (err, lanyards) with diamonds. So thank Mii Stor for finally pressing some ice into this 4GB USB flash drive, dubbed the "Snow". The case AND the chain are white gold, so you can be sure you won't be embarrassed when you hang this puppy from your neck with the rest of your uber-posh-gadgetry. It's yours today for a song (if your songs are worth $19,000).

Thanks BornRich.
