samantha harrisEntertainment journalist and Dancing with the Stars co-host Samantha Harris and her husband Mark Hess have listed their home in the Westwood area of Los Angeles, California home for $1.595 million. Records on Property Shark show that they bought the four-bedroom home for $1.6 million in 2007 and so the pair won't make any money on the deal.

The Spanish-style home has wood beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, a freshly remodeled kitchen and a master suite that includes a bathroom with an extra large shower with double shower heads. A pretty pink princess room is decorated for the couple's two-year-old daughter and there is also a multicolored playroom. The home has a private sundeck.

Welcome Bruce Willis to the Neighborhood

Filed under: Estates, Real Estate Developments

Send over those moving boxes to Hollywood superstar Bruce Willis, who, with wife Emma Heming, is headed for the exclusive crescent-shaped building in Westwood known as The Carlyle Residences, Luxist.com has learned. Willis has purchased one of the building's 78 units -- all with private elevators -- in the newly constructed high-rise, also known as The Carlyle on Wilshire. The star of the "Die Hard" franchise bought one of the upper units in the exclusive building, where the penthouse was listed at $5.4 million.

Willis' residency no doubt will ratchet up the building's already soaring cache. The three-bedroom, three-bath unit that Willis bought is about 5,000 square feet and has city views. The centerpiece of the building is the grand lobby, lavishly appointed in exotic woods and stone and with a $1 million Dale Chihuly chandelier as a focal point. There is also a 24-hour concierge, dining room, wine cellar, pool and gym-spa. The units are equipped with Poggenpohl kitchens and baths, soaring ceilings and walls of glass. The project was developed by ELAD Properties, which also developed New York's Plaza Hotel. Luxury real estate broker Valerie Fitzgerald is the head of sales for the project, according to the MLS and other sources. A spokesman for The Carlyle could not be reached for comment.

Tori and Dean in Westwood, Estate of the Day

I mentioned this one in Sunday's Round-Up but Big Time Properties revealed earlier this week that the listing is finally available online. Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have put their home in the Westwood area of Los Angeles on the market.

The 3,300-square-foot house has five bedrooms. Tori's trust bought the home in January for $2.275 million. It was built in 1925 and has gone through an extensive renovation that was part of the pair's show "Tori and Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood." The renovation is in tune with the couple's cutesy colorful style. There is a pink bedroom for their daughter and a turquoise bedroom for their little boy as well as a relatively understated blue bedroom for the happy couple. The wallpaper is a bit dramatic in the dining room and one of the bathrooms but overall it's a very charming home. The small lot includes a solar-powered saltwater pool with a Baja shelf and spa and an outdoor dining area with a built-in barbecue. Rumor has it the pair is looking for a home with a bit more privacy. This home is listed at $2.395 million.
