Design House 2006

Another gorgeous design house has been created to raise money for charity. This one lands us in the posh Boston suburb of Wellesley. Design House 2006 was built by Fallon Custom Homes and tours of the 10,000 square-foot home raise money for the Home For Little Wanderers, New England's largest private nonprofit family service agency. The 30-room home has five bedrooms, an indoor putting green and a home theater. There is also an online charity auction that includes furnishings from the house as well as other items such as a private round of golf and lunch for three with baseball Hall of Famer Dennis Eckersley. The house itself is selling for $5,999,000,without the furnishings. Tours are $25 and the house is open through October 5.
