Gondola Washbasin

Great home decor comes when you put your own personal flair into it, but (unless you're a designer by trade) it's still nice to have an already started beautiful canvas with which to work. And that's what you'll get with the Gondola Washbasin -- a beautifully designed glass washbasin with a hollow display area in which to create your own little masterpiece. Leaves, Post Its, dirt, photos, see the gallery below for ideas -- the possibilities really are limitless (my favorites are the dried leaves and the marbles).

Soft Washbowl

Made of soft polyurethane, the Soft Washbowl is an interesting counterpoint to more angular, modern sinks and hard countertops made of materials like metal and granite. The sink was designed by Hella Jongerius for droog design and measures 16" x 12" x 8". It can be attached to the wall as easily as a more conventional sink can be, and would make a nice addition to a child's bathroom due to the material and the fact that it is currently only available in bright blue. Price: $479.
