Inhabit Hanging Wall Slats

We loved the wall flats from inhabit that we saw earlier this year, which added a unique three-dimensional look to what would otherwise be a flat surface. Now, the designer has added a new line of hanging wall slats that offer another way to decorate. The slats are soft panels made of polyester gabardine and can be laid flat against a wall or used as room dividers. The fabric allows bright natural light to pass through, creating some interesting patterns with the lighter-colored panels, but is opaque in the dimmer evening light. They measure 24" by 76". Price: $112 each.

Wallter Retro Wall Slats

Wallter Retro Wall Slats add a lot of interest to a room, as so many three-dimensional wall accents do. The difference with Wallter's designs is that they can be painted over, so they really will look like they are part of the wall. The slats come primed and ready for painting, so you just have to attach them where you want them. Connect several rows of the 24"x19" pieces to make a design that covers the whole wall. If the retro slats aren't to your tastes, check out some of the other designs using the same premise. Price: $88 per segment.
