Carbon Fiber iPod Case

If buttery soft leather iPod cases don't do it for you, you could always go the opposite route, carbon fiber. This video iPod case is made from real aerospace carbon fiber, aluminum, and stainless steel screws. The case also includes a stainless steel belt clip, a protective clear film screen protector, and assembly tool (for screwing the case onto your iPod I assume). The video iPod case sells for $49.95.

Eyebud 800 For Video iPods

Would you be caught wearing this thing on the subway or on a plane? This highly-unfashionable device is known as the EyeBud 800. It is designed to plug into a video iPod and display the video in front of one eye at a higher resolution. They say it creates a "big-screen, movie-screen, home-theater experience wherever you are." The Eyebud is expected to sell for as much as $599. It has a separate control module about the size of the iPod that includes a rechargeable battery pack. The company believes that eventually devices like this will be as accepted in public as Bluetooth headsets currently are (otherwise known as you will be assimilated).
