JetDirect Aviation

MSNBC has an article from the St. Louis Business Journal about private
plane options in that region. As we have seen in other areas, many companies are using fractional and charter flight
services and are considering the use of very light jets. Every time an article like this runs I learn about a new jet
service. This time it is JetDirect Aviation a growing company backed
by a couple of Philadelphia-based investors. They recently acquired St. Louis-based JetCorp and now offer 33 charter
aircraft based in the Northeast and Midwest, as well as two full service FBOs, and two advanced maintenance facilities.
They offer a variety of flight options for six to 13 people, from a Eurocopter to a Gulfstream IV. As charter and
private jet businesses increase and many of the smaller light jets only go for shorter distance, the role of Midwest
hubs will take on prime importance.
