The Periscope TV stand has a remote-controlled height adjustment so that your TV can slide up and down the length of the TV stand. A cable manager on the back takes care of the unsightly stuff and it has a shelf for extra components. It sells for $6,580.

These days it seems like the flatscreen television is a must have. But what do you do if you don't have the wall space for it. For rooms where a wall-mounted TV is not an option or if you would like to have more flexible placement of your TV, the Column Stand from Centreforge might be the solution. It's not the most ruthlessly stylish thing I've ever seen but it's a nice to have an option that doesn't involve the wall. It sells for $1200.
