Campbell Cliffs, Estate of the Day

I first mentioned this home way back in December 2004 when Luxist first launched but I figured it deserves another post. The home sits in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains in Tucson, Arizona. The home's dramatic style suits the local stark beauty. The home is 31,000 square feet including 6,000 feet of deck and patio space. The home has 24 rooms including a 1,200 square foot commercial kitchen with blindingly polished steel appliances, a massive home theater, an office wing, a gym, indoor shooting range, tennis court and a pool area that includes a firepit and an outdoor kitchen. The home is full of all the stone and wood you might expect from a Southwestern home but done in a modern way that derives its power from angular glass and curved wood. It is listed at $22 million. After the jump, still on the market, is it too much luxury for Arizona.
