Tata Celebrates 5000 Years of Indian Jewelry with Gold Nano
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

You've seen Art Cars, now feast your eyes on the bejeweled car. Based on the cheapest, most basic car in the world, this one-of-a-kind Tata Nano (built by the same company that owns Jaguar, but for a considerably more down-market clientele) is the result of a public relations campaign to solicit designs. Thirteen proposals were submitted, with the one you see here chosen as the winner.
The custom creation will be built from pure gold by Titan Industries (a subsidiary of Tata) at its facility in Bangalore, India, as a celebration of the 5,000th anniversary of Indian jewelry.
