Jamie Foxx in Tarzana, Estate of the Day

Actor Jamie Foxx hasn't lived in his Tarzana, California home for a while, moving on to a 40-acre spread in Thousand Oaks. This three-bedroom in Tarzana had been his home since 1997 when he bought the home for $930,000. As the Real Estalker mentions, the home has been the site of some of Foxx's famous wild parties and the police were once called over a nude basketball game being held on the home's half court. The home has been customized by Foxx with details such as aquariums in the living room, a game room in the basement, a media room and a recording studio. The home has since gone through a major renovation which explains the blandness of the current decor.

The backyard includes a large lawn, pool and pool house, sunken spa and that infamous basketball court. This home is listed at $2.23 million.

Chris Tucker's Tarzana Home, Estate of the Day

Chris Tucker, the comedian most famous for playing Jackie Chan's foil in the Rush Hour movies, has put his home in the Mulholland Park Estates area in Tarzana on the market. The Real Estalker Mama unearthed this find for us and also reports that he owns the house next door so it is not clear which home Tucker lives in. This makes sense because this luxurious but brain-numbingly boring home doesn't seem to reflect Tucker's antic spirit. The home was a previous model estate and was likely furnished for neutrality by home stagers. The five-bedroom home is 6,500 square feet and also has a home theater, upstairs game room and library. The pool area is particularly over the top with its statues and water features. The master bedroom also has a very shiny campagne bedspread and some curious lighting and a rather small television tucked into a bookshelf. The master bath includes a very large spa tub which looks a little dated (the home was built in 1995 and already seems to be showing its age). This home does seem to have a decent location for the valley, it looks to be up on a hill and has views over the valley. The home is listed at $3.8 million.

Carnie Wilson's Valley Home, Estate of the Day

The Real Estalker Mama wasn't too kind on this one but I rather like the Tarzana home of Wilson Phillips singer Carnie Wilson and her husband Rob Bonfiglio. Sure it's in the valley but it has a nice cozy suburban feel. It's family-ready right down to the gate around the pool. The five bedroom home is 4,491 square feet. The couple bought the home in 2004 for $1.51 million and according to the listing they have added a new redwood deck. The home isn't lavishly decorated but the vaulted beamed ceilings are nice and I dig the French doors off the master bedroom. While the Real Estalker Mama rightly points out that random placement of plants above kitchen cabinets and family photos and knick-knacks on tall armoires, the thing that bugs me is yet another beige master bathroom with a stand-up glass shower and a bath tub that no one will use very often. It is listed at $2,249,000, a reduction from $2,325,000.

American Idol In The Valley, Estate of the Day

Randy Jackson from American Idol could take some decorating tips from another music man, Tony Kiedis, whose Beverly Hills home is an absolute showplace (I know, I told you earlier but seriously, sit through the tour of his house). Jackson has a large home in Tarzana that he has put on the market. It's a space to work with but as the sassy Mama over at the Real Estalker pointed out, Jackson hasn't really done a lot with the decor. It can't be that he is afraid of color, the home has turquoise and orange walls after all and check out the rainbow dishes in the kitchen. I would think that perhaps Jackson has already moved out and taken the good stuff with him but there are computers and musical instruments and other sign of habitation. The home has five bedrooms including a master suite with hers and hers bathrooms. It is listed at $3.199 million. After the jump, you've got to put paintings on the walls, dawg.
