Susan G. Komen For The Cure Creates "Promise Me" Perfume

Susan G. Komen for the Cure has joined forces with TPR Holdings, a consumer products manufacturing and distribution company to launch a new fragrance that will benefit breast cancer education and awareness. The scent, Promise Me, takes its name from the recent book "Promise Me" written by Susan Komen for the Cure Founder and CEO Nancy Brinker on how her sister inspired her to create a global movement.
Promise Me was developed by Drom fragrances and perfumer Jean Claude Delville - creator of Clinique Happy, Vera Wang and more. The fragrance is described as a sophisticated floriental with touches of citrus, green, musk and wood notes Packaging was designed by Chad Lavigne and the perfume comes in a pink glass vessel with interior floral motif.
The Promise Me fragrance will come in a a 3.4oz eau de parfum fragrance in a collectible bottle for $59.00 and a 3.4oz. eau de toilette perfume for $29.99 along with a unique gift set for television shopping. Each Promise Me fragrance will include a Komen for the Cure informational insert to raise breast cancer awareness, as well as a limited edition scented bracelet with a Susan G. Komen charm. The fragrance will launch in April of 2011 and remain on the market for six months with new editions launching each year. Retailers will include Sephora in JC Penney, Ulta and Home Shopping Network.
