Longdown Cottage, Estate of the Day

Today seems like a nice day for a jaunt to the English countryside. Longdown Cottage is located on over an acre within easy access fo the Guildford town center in Surrey. The cottage has six bedrooms and is in a lovely secluded setting that includes wildflower meadows,a tennis court, garden shed and a pool. Homes and Property UK reports that Chelsea & Fulham's Green candidate and writer Julia Stephenson inherited the property. Her late mother (meat heiress Rosamund Vestey) bought the home in 1962 and the area has barely changed since then. The property is listed at £2.5 million.
