Colbie Caillat's Pennyroyal Silver Pendant

Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Colbie Caillat is the latest addition to the Pennyroyal Silver family. Her Signature Collection pendant created with Pennyroyal Silver founder Tim Foster went on sale earlier this week. Profits go to benefit Surfrider Foundation to help continue their mission to clean up the world's oceans and beaches. Caillat's design is a hand-drawn replica of the daisy she has tattooed on her forearm. Each Colbie Caillat Signature Collection pendant comes with a collector card that features a hand written message to her fans as well as a copy of her original drawing and signature. The pendant retails for $75 and will available for purchase through Pennyroyal Silver until June 30st, 2010. The design will be retired after June 30.

The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to preserving the world's oceans, waves, and beaches, and works to further that mission through educational programs and the development of grassroots awareness. Their programs include everything from the expected like monitoring water quality and teaching kids to respect the beach to the slightly less expected, like information on how to create an "ocean friendly garden" that reduces runoff and harmful pollutants.

You can take part in their programs hands on if you live near any of the nations coasts (they have chapters pretty much everywhere) or join online and support them from anywhere.
