I've seen many types of jewels on the red carpet at various awards shows but here's one I hadn't seen before. Emma Stone rocked the red carpet at the MTV VMA's in a black dress and Diamond Hoops by Kara Ackerman Designs and a massive Super Seven Quartz Ring by Dana Rebecca Designs. What's super seven quartz? I had no idea either, but it turns out that it refers to quartz that contains seven types of quartz: amethyst, clear quartz, smoky quartz, cacoxenite, rutile, goethite and lepidocrosite. The overall effect is striking, like a galaxy on your finger. The stone is ringed in .75 carats of diamonds, set in 14K white gold and sells for $3,520.
