R. Nichols Wall Art

We have mentioned the stylish stationery from R. Nichols before, but they have just introduced a new category to their product line-up: wall art. The first piece from their art line is called Dog Service and features a giant black and white illustration silk-screened onto a 50-in. x 24-in canvas frame. As much as we love this design, since it's something that so many of us can relate to, we hope that they come out with larger versions of more of their designs in the future. After all, putting up one great piece is just a little bit classier, from a design perspective, than taping up notecards all over the place. Price: $500.

Seven Deadly Sins Stationery

China isn't the only thing portraying the seven deadly sins anymore. Mrs. John L Strong, one of the finest stationers in New York, if not the world, has a set of Seven Deadly Sins Notecards. The cards are topped with a single word, naming their sin. Each 100% cotton card is of archival quality, made with custom dyes - some dating back to the 19th century - and is paired with a hand-lined card. It goes without saying that all pieces pass a meticulous inspection before being passed on to the buyer. "Sloth" is a sin that has never appeared in Mrs Strong's other than on paper. Price: $50.

Fabulous Stationery

The art of writing notes and letters with a pen and paper is a lost art. Those truly in the know have never lost this skill and more people need to get back to the basics of human communication. What better way to convey your thanks or to invite a crowd over for highballs than on personalized stationery. FabulousStationery.com is a maker of customized note cards and invites that will give your handwritten correspondence that extra-lux feel. Now, this isn't your grandmother's "thank you" notes. This is funky, artistic, and modern stationery. I'm debating between several of the mod-ish graphic note cards. Starting at $35 a set, you have no excuse not to send paper invites to your next soiree.
