Sneakbars - A Small Splurge
Kickbars have been around for a few years now. Back in 2007, Deidre told us about them in "Kickbars, Diamonds for Your Shoes." Well, we weren't in a recession then. What they are is diamond and jewel-encrusted clips for your shoelaces, basically like grills for your tennies. What they cost? $9,500 and up. That's why I'm telling you about Sneakbars.
In case you don't have that kind of cash lying around for shoe decor but think the idea is really cool, Sneakbars retail for just $49.00. They're made by the same company, and incorporate some of the same cool designs, but use rhinestones instead of diamonds to keep the price down.
And if you meet someone on the street who's like "those aren't real Kickbars, they're obviously just Sneakbars," you live in crazytown and there's nothing I can do to help you.
