Kate Spade Jitney Coin Purse - Small Splurge

We feature a lot of fantastic handbags, but what about what you keep inside your handbag? Here's a small splurge, just in time for summer (which I am so ready for after a cold, cold East Coast winter!). Kate Spade's cute and colorful Jitney Coin Purse, named after NYC's Hampton Jitney bus line, comes in two patterns, both with a summer theme: SPF (this page) and G&T (see below). The coin purse is cotton canvas with smooth cowhide trim and features a zipper closure and 14-karat light gold plated hardware. Unlined; 2.4" H x 3.5" W; $50.

100 Years of Royal Albert Teas by Royal Doulton - Small Splurge

Tired of drinking your tea out of some old mug you picked up at the office vendor fair? Try doing it the way the British do -- out of Royal Doulton china. The legendary company now offers "The 100 Years of Royal Albert Collection," which comprises two collections of 10 distinctive patterns that "capture the historical design statements and trends from the 10 decades of the 20th century that pay tribute to the Royal Albert brand's vitality, longevity and rich design history." Designed with classic shapes and delicate floral designs, this durable bone china will last long enough to become an heirloom. The two collections are "Best sellers from 1900 - 1940" (see below) and "Best sellers from 1950 - 1990" (this page). Each set is $130.

Stauer Watches for Men - A Small Splurge

Filed under: Timepieces / Watches, Men's Style

Stauer Limited Edition 1930's Dashtronic WatchStauer has a collection of stunning and extremely affordable watches for men.

At right is the truly unique 1930's Dashtronic Limited Edition Watch from Stauer. The watch is crafted in the 1930's "jumping mechanism" style, which, rather than incorporating hands, utilizes a window reminiscent of a dashboard or radio tuner to tell the time.

The watch features 3-ATM water resistance, 21-jewel automatic movement, stainless steel casing, and a black alligator embossed leather band.

This compelling watch is a very small splurge at just $99. If the 1930s isn't an era you'd care to think about right now, check out some of the other watches at Stauer -- our favorites, including a skeleton pocket watch for a steal are below:

A Year In The Country Soaps, A Small Splurge

Soap is an essential but it can also be a way to pamper yourself in a relatively inexpensive way. The "A Year In The Country" box set of goat milk soaps is a set of 12 soaps that offer scents for each month. Pine, patchouli, orange, wildflowers, thyme, lavender and cinnamon are just some of the scents. The soaps are made from the milk of the contented Beekman goats of the Beekman Farm in New York. You may have seen Dr. Brent Ridge and Josh Kilmer-Purcell, the talented men behind Beekman farm in the May issue of Vanity Fair. This small splurge will run you just $64.

Venetian Masks - Decadent Decor

Horchow Venetian MasksVenetian masks add a mysterious glamour to any room. Fortunately, you don't have to go to Venice to get them, there are a number of beautiful masks available from Horchow in the $200 - $400 range.

These masks are elegant and rich with history. Venetian masks, traditionally worn in Italy during Carnivale, draw on Commedia dell'arte characters for their designs.

Though you may never find an occasion to wear the dramatic masks, they make for splendidly decadent wall decor. We recommend them for conversation pieces in grand, well-accoutered rooms (and not so much for a child's bedroom, as those hollow eyes can be rather creepy in the dark).

The masks you see are on sale from Horchow for $183.90 and up.

Beautiful New Tiffany Keys for $200 or Less - Small Splurge

Tiffany Key - just $100If you loved the beautiful Tiffany & Co. Key Collection we recently highlighted, you'll love this -- you can get a Tiffany Key, like the Heart Key Charm with Tiffany Blue® Enamel Finish (right) for $200 or less.

It might be the perfect Mother's Day (May 10th) gift, or just a little something you do for yourself. Why not engrave it with Mom's initials or with something special to you?

The keys, which can cost up to $15,000 (for the Round Kaleidoscope Key Pendant with Marquise which features square and round brilliant diamonds in platinum on a platinum and diamond chain), come at a wide range of prices. Forgo the diamonds and the platinum to get a reasonably priced gold key, or an even more affordable silver key.

At any price, all the key pendants have the vintage charm and fanciful glamour of Tiffany's. Below are our favorite "Small Splurges:"
