Singer 911 Revives the Original
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos

One generation of Porsche 911 may not look all that different from the one that came before, but put the latest version next to the original and – while you'll recognize the lineage – you'll see how far it's come over the years. But for those a little nostalgic for the original, independent outfit Singer Vehicle Design has rolled out a custom recreation.
The Singer 911 is styled like the original model, but underneath the carbon-fiber body panels, it's all modern equipment: 410hp 3.8-liter flat-six engine, Brembo brakes, Bilstein shocks...the works. Unfortunately it'll cost you around $200,000 to get your own, but that strikes us as a bargain for a veritable time machine.
