Cashmere and Bamboo Make Camboo

Take cashmere and bamboo and you end up with camboo®, a new fabric from pur brands that is designed to be soft, durable and eco-friendly. The blend of cashmere and bamboo uses cashmere from the combed fleece of Mongolian goats and bamboo pulp. The camboo is grown, harvested, spun, knitted, and woven on the grasslands of Mongolia. The ruffled shawl shown here retails for $250.

Hermes Cashmere and Silk Bridle Shawl

Shawls are wonderful accessories to have in chilly weather. They are rather like a cross between a scarf and a jacket, in that they can be draped around your shoulders and neck to ward off a brisk breeze or wrapped around your entire body to hold in heat without being too binding. Hermes has some lovely, hand-rolled cashmere and silk shawls in their winter collection, like this Bridle Shawl, which features two ornately-worked baroque bridles.
