Donald Trump Helps The Serta Sheep Find New Jobs
Donald Trump never met an ad campaign he couldn't put himself into; his latest has him finding jobs for Serta's wide-eyed counting sheep. The Serta ad campaign which features winsome animated sheep out of jobs because of the sleep-inducing qualities of Serta mattresses, will now feature Trump talking to the sheep and helping them find new employment. Serta's "Counting Sheep for Hire" contest launched on July 26. The company has asked Facebook users to help Trump find the perfect job for the Counting Sheep in his company. It bears noting that Trump also has a mattress line with Serta.
The contest has launched on YouTube with a series of videos including the one above. The contest is open for entries over a three-week period, with a new webisode each week. Facebook users can enter the contest by writing a letter of employment recommendation on behalf of the Counting Sheep. Finalists will be chosen by Serta and the Facebook community will vote on a winner. The grand prize winner will receive a Trump Luxury Suites Getaway to the Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas. Finalists will receive a variety of Trump branded gifts, including a limited edition Trump Home mattress by Serta for the runner-up.
Winners will be selected one day before the TV premiere of a new commercial in which Trump will announce the job he has chosen for the Counting Sheep. The commercial will support Serta's Labor Day retail event, the Luxury Suites Mattress Savings Event, which features a limited edition Trump Home Luxury Suites mattress.
