The kit, which I took for a test drive this morning, includes a number of products to make your brows and eyes brighter, and create that "Perfect Triangle" for which Soare is known. The attractive little kit is about 6" x 3" x 1.5" and comes with DVD Instructions to help you achieve your perfect eyebrows.

The products include:

Cooling Eye Brightener
Mini Lash Lifting Mascara
Stencils
Brow Powder Duo
Precision Tweezers
Clear Brow Gel
Mattle Camille Highlighter
Mini Duo Brush

While you may already have versions of some of these products, it's nice knowing that these are all Anastasia-approved.

If you're like me, and have several pairs of tweezers but only use one, you'll be delighted to find these slant tipped tweezers are both sharp and fine, and with a strong grip. The real gem of the package, though, is the stencil set. Find the stencil that matches your shape and you can be sure you're creating even, well-arched brows that follow the Golden Ratio. The stencils make life easier for anyone who's ever looked at their brows and thought: "Is that even? Is the shape weird? Should I tweeze more there or more there?"

The only thing missing from the kit, it my opinion, is a small pair of scissors for snipping those brow hairs that play a vital role but go a little too far. Beyond that, I found all the products, especially the eye brightener and highlighter, terrific -- and while I'd probably ditch the case and consolidate them into my usual makeup bag, this set makes a great gift and/or kit for when all you know about eyebrows is tweezing or your local salon, and you don't know where to start.

Sephora Ultimate Blockbuster Palette Offers Thousands Of Looks

The Ultimate Blockbuster Palette from Sephora promises 30,000 different looks. That works out to over 82 years if you were on the look-a-day plan. Although we suspect you'd run out before then. The palette has 71 eye shadows, 60 lip glosses, 13 cream shadows, five blushes and just one compact powder, lip liner and eye liner. It sells for $48 and they say it is a $320 value which makes it a very frugal splurge.

Using the Fragrance Finder

After finding a forgotten bottle of body spray in the bottom of a long-unused suitcase, I popped open the lid to check out the scent. Not only did it bring back memories of the the beach, the harbor and good friends - it was from a trip to Sydney - but it smelled wonderful. It was fresh and flowery, with definite fruity overtones. Very feminine and very springy.

I'll be the first to admit that this bottle of Evoke Surf Chic body spray was a drugstore purchase, probably bought out of necessity at the time, but I was glad to have found it. The problem was that I didn't know how to get more. A brief search turned up no sites that would ship overseas to the US, though the company still makes it. I wrote down all the fragrance notes and, in the hope of finding something similar, I turned to Sephora's Fragrance Finder.

Floral was my first selection, followed by floral, again. Looking at the options on the very first page, I was completely astounded to find that Yves St Laurent's Baby Doll perfume contains the exact same fragrance notes. I drove out to the nearest Sephora to compare the scents and, except for the slightly more alcoholic note of the perfume, it was nearly identical. Twenty minutes later, I was home and reliving the memories of a great trip via my new perfume. Price, 1.6-oz.: $54.

Venexx Perfume Watch

A post on Now Smell This let me know that the Venexx perfume watch has hit Sephora. The watch is designed to work as a spray atomizer for your favorite perfume. The stainless steel watch face hides the atomizer and the watch comes with a funnel and pipette for refills. The watch holds approximately 60 sprays of perfume. It comes in white, pink or black for $180 at Sephora. You can check out a video of the watch in action at the Venexx website.

DiorLucky Palette

Continuing my obsession with beautiful makeup palettes is this gold, star-embossed compact from Dior. The DiorLucky palette has with four shadows in pale blue-gray with silver glitter, lilac with silver glitter, deep taupe, and ivory with silver glitter, a lip gloss in rose shimmer and a double applicator. It sells for$50 at Sephora.
