Bowler bags are always so cute and this pudgy little number from See by Chloé is a perfect example. The Yate Bowler Bag is all about ultra soft black lambskin leather with slightly metallic silver contrast stitching in a loose geometric pattern. It has double top handles with stud details, "hardware tipped" leather bows at sides, and it closes on the top with a zipper. Also the inside is more fun than expected with several pockets on a bold leopard-print twill lining. It's oversized and super useful, and can be dressed to fit any number of styles. $595

12 Chic Capes for the Fall

Capes seem to be everywhere this season. They serve well as chic transitional outwear for chilly weather without unnecessarily committing to a bulky, blizzard-ready winter jacket.

After browsing through an abundance of styles, it was a pleasant surprise to find capes that are laid back and casual as well as super luxurious and elegant. The choices are endless matching whatever occasion you may encounter.

Given a cape's voluminous silhouette, add balance by pairing with slim fitting trousers or even jeans and viola - you have yourself a stylish and on trend outfit with little effort.

Initially, I would suggest wearing heels to add height and avoid looking frumpy, but when I came across Gryphon's Sherlock Cape ($595) - featured to the right - I was actually surprised how well it works even with the most casual of outfits. What a great look for cool fall days while you're out and about.

I am in love...with a handbag. It is clear to me this bag was made just for me! I really like the mix of leather and suede, the special detailing and especially this shade of pink. The Marti Suede Clutch is petite, girly and colorful in fuchsia leather and merlot suede marked with twisted leather and zip details on the front. The handbag can be carried as a clutch or slipped over the shoulder with the strap which can also be tucked inside. Complete with internal zip pocket, magnetic front fastening and black canvas lining it is a steal for $295. (24" x 6" x 3" with 9" strap)

See by Chloé Cherry Mini Slouchy Bag, Handbag of the Day

The Cherry Mini Leather Slouchy Bag from See by Chloé is another great metallic, albeit less flashy than some with its subtly burnished silver leather and goldtone hardware. I think it's a cute a design but honestly the 'slouch' factor eludes me as I see a structured shape with seams and defined lines almost everywhere. There's a very large leather tassel hanging off one side and two zippers on the front that are working closures for functional pockets (and not just ornamental) while the fold-over flap top closes via magnet and the interior is lined in black twill with a single pouch pocket inside. $335

Here's a bag that both looks 'traditional designer' with its fine sand colored lambskin leather (it also comes in black) and a little unusual with its unique details. The Ring Around Lambskin Hobo by See by Chloe is a structured style hobo, with the baggy slouchiness being somewhat contained the way the handle is formed. Features include resin bracelet details on each side of the straps and a big dangly star charm hanging from the zipper pull of the small front pocket, both of which give it a fun, relaxed, and very girly vibe. It's fully lined in pale dove gray and has one interior pocket. $590

There is no denying that with the arrival of Spring comes the feeling of renewal. Cleaning out the clutter in our homes and minds while starting the season with a fresh outlook and sense of excitement for the warm weather. And of course, who can forget about shedding away the winter gear and replacing it with skirts, dresses, tank tops, shorts and open toed sandals? Finally, our skin is able to see the sun and feel the warmth once again. So perhaps this may be a bit melodramatic but I am so ready for warm spring and hot summer days. The See by Chloe Backstage Crossbody is an unusual bag with a ton of functionality and a great shape.

This attractive little bag (10.75"W x 9.75"H x 3.5"D) is soft, buttery leather with snakeskin-embossed trim, a generous strap (21" drop) and a "look at me" logo in goldtone hardware. We love the "Backstage" name for it, as this is just the sort of thing we'd expect to see dangling from a runway model when she arrives for work or stuffed on the makeup table as she gets made up. The eye-catching color makes it easy to find post-show, too.

The drawstring closures are enhanced by a hidden magnetic snap, so even though it's a crossbody, you don't have to worry about pickpockets. Just worry about someone stealing the whole bag -- because it's gorgeous.
