Joe Doucet's ScrewTop Table

Can flat pack furniture be fine design? Furniture designer Joe Doucet's new Whyte Label line includes the WL01 "ScrewTop" table which uses its form of construction as a design feature. The table uses giant screws as part of the design, for a table that is both attractive and super easy to self assemble. This is no assembly line table, each one is made to order and so the price will differ but the range is $10,000 to $15,000.
Doucet is a multitalented designer who has worked with a wide range of clients include Moët & Chandon, Braun, Target, Armani, Coty, P&G, Disney, Playboy, and Missoni. His Whyte Label line is set to officially unveil in New York next Spring. For a peek at his personal aesthetic check out his home on Apartment Therapy.
