2030 North Pacific

A new condo complex in Santa Cruz, California has already sold 18 of the 66 units during the opening weekend. Compare that to the total number of condos sold in the county, just 29. 2030 North Pacific Avenue is the first residential condo complex ind downtown Santa Cruz and it offers one-, two- and three-bedroom condo units ranging from the mid $500,000s to the $700,000s which puts them above the median price for condos in the area. The condos are also eco-friendly featuring high-efficiency water and heating systems, bamboo floors and extensive use of recycled building products. The amenities are simple, underground parking and a pool but the prime location is what makes this development so prized.

The Point At Sunny Cove, Estate of the Day

It was built in the 1950s, it is less than 2,000 square feet and the decor and appliances are dated. Why then is this the most expensive home on the market in Santa Cruz, California. Just look at the view. This home is located on a point and with Monterey Bay South of you and Sunny Cove to the East, amazing vistas abound. The home has four bedrooms and don't expect any fancy bells and whistles here. No theater room, no stainless steel appliances, just a simple clean white blank slate with big windows. This home is listed at $5.995 million. After the jump, could this be the worst staging job ever?
