I love when someone does something completely different with a leather handbag. Exhibit A: Salvatore Ferragamo's 'Origami Kid Air Satchel'. This bag is luxurious and stylish from the get-go -- neutral leather with a strip of metallic sheen, the signature 'Gancini' charm dangling at its side and handmade braided straps. Then, instead of leaving it there, Ferragamo gives it a twist with two folded down corners like the beginnings of a Japanese crane made out of paper. Too heavy to fly but certainly a dashing addition to your wardrobe. ($1,590)
