SailTime

It's nearly spring and for those who love to get
out on the water it's time to start planning for a season on the water. SailTime
is a large fractional ownership program that has many locations in both the U.S. and abroad and recently expanded into
the New York market. Each SailTime member is guaranteed a minimum of seven sail times per month. A sailboat is
"shared" by seven members and one owner member. Members can swap sail times with other members or carry their
time over to the next month. SailTime uses Hunter Boats which have two cabins, showers, galleys, and TVs. Each boat has
a PDA onboard and a check-in and check-out list to help make sure that the boats stay in good condition. SailTime
members in one location can also borrow boats in another location. SailTime also offers instruction for new
members. The Hunter 33 costs $425 per month in most markets (but $625 in New York) and the fees include insurance
and maintenance.
