--Former NY Islander hockey player and longtime Carol Alt boyfriend, Alexei Yashin has but his mansion in Old Westbury, NY, shown above, on the market for $11 million. Yashin bought the six-bedroom home in 2002 for $3.877 million. The listing is here.
--The Kings Point estate of former New York City Mayor William R. Grace sold last week for $4.5 million.
--Architect Jay Lockett sold his family's waterfront property in Quogue to Randy and Bev Cardo for $2.15 million.

From Cityfile's Buyers and Sellers:
--Andrew Rayburn, entrepreneur and founder of Big Game Capital, has put his three-bedroom New York apartment on the market for $8.45 million. The listing is here.
--Andrew Cohen, a managing director at Dune Capital, and his wife Suzi paid $7.575 million for a four-bedroom apartment at 1120 Park Avenue.
--Art advisor Franck Giraud, who oversees GPS Partners with Philippe Segalot and Lionel Pissarro, paid $4.2 million for an apartment at 30 East 10th Street.
--Coburn Packard, a former senior VP at Lehman Brothers, and his wife Carrie paid $3 million for an apartment at 101 Warren Street.
--Peter Lusk, the former COO at Tony Forstmann's private equity firm Forstmann-Leff International, and his wife Jeanne, have sold their 15th-floor co-op at 1 East 66th Street for $7 million.
--Casino developer Richard Fields is selling his 38th-floor apartment at 15 Central Park West for $27 million.
--Hedge fund founder James Torrey and his wife, Rose Peabody Lynch, have gone into contract to sell their 23rd-floor apartment at 131 East 66th Street, which they originally listed for $14.5 million in October and dropped to $12.5 million a month later.
--Publishing entrepreneur and Democratic fundraiser Win McCormack has paid $8.7 million for a 12th-floor apartment at 170 East End Avenue.
--Former Lehman Brothers exec Marco Naldi sold his three-bedroom apartment (and accompanying storage unit) at 545 West 110th Street for $2.55 million to Verizon exec Shawn Strickland.
--Peter Kraus the ex-Merrill Banker, who collected $25 million for laboring at the bank from September until the end of the year, closed on the purchase of Carl Spielvogel and Barbaralee Diamonstein-Spielvogel's co-op at 720 Park last week for $36.63 million.
--Michael Waldorf, a senior vice president at John Paulson's Paulson & Co.has closed on an apartment at Riverhouse for $6.175 million.

--Singer Ray LaMontagne has picked up a 23-room estate in Ashfield, MA for $1.05 million.

From the LA Times Hot Property:
--A 4,100-square-foot house in Los Feliz that was once the home of actor Alan Ladd and his agent wife, Carol sold for $2.55 million, after being listed for $3.495 million.
--Rockstar CEO Russ Weiner has sold a Hollywood Hills home for $8 million. It was originally listed at $14.995 million. He still has another home on the market for $2.995 million.

From the Real Estalker:
--The home lived in by Sheree Whitfield of The Real Housewives of Atlanta recently hit the market for $2.85 million. Her ex-husband Bob Whitfield, a former NFL player, owns the home. Listing pics can be found here.
--Film producer George Furla, who as we saw last week, has listed his Chicago penthouse for sale, also has a home in Los Angeles which has been on the market for nearly a year. It is listed at $2.295 million.
--Floyd Nathaniel Hills, better known as music producer Danja has picked up a new home on Mulholland Drive in Los Angeles for $2.925 million.
--Nicole RIchie and Joel Madden are rumored to be renting a home in the Outpost Estates area in the Hollywood Hills for $6.500 a month.

From Berg Properties Big Time Listings:
--Basketball star Kwame Brown, who plays center for the Detroit Pistons and who played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 2005 until early 2008 , has placed his four-bedroom house in Playa del Rey, Calif. on the market for $2.999 million which is far less than the $3.375 million he paid when he bought it in 2005. The listing is here.
--"Family Guy" creator Seth MacFarlane has paid $13.5 million for a Beverly Hills home that wasn't on the market.
--Husband-and-wife actor-directors Vondie Curtis-Hall and Kasi Lemmons have reduced the asking price of their Hollywood Hills home from $3.595 million to its current $2.669 million. The listing is here.
--Author Anne Rice has sold a four-bedroom house that she owned in Kenner, La. for $2.265 million.

From the Wall Street Journal's Private Properties:
--A manor house that's about half a millennium old and believed to be the former hunting lodge of Anne of Brittany, queen to two French kings, has gone on the market for $595,000 in the French region of Normandy.
--A mansion in Los Angeles' Bel Air neighborhood, once owned by a key film-production figure, has sold for $38 million making it one of the area's biggest sales of the year.
--Ken Duncan, president and chief executive of Web-based document-manager NetDocuments, has listed his Montana cattle ranch for $18 million. The listing is here.

Today I'm looking back at last year's celebrity real estate to see what homes have been on the market for six months or more...

--Fashion designer Kenzo's home in Paris is still on the market. It was our estate of the day in December 2007.
--Football star Terrell Owens has been trying to unload his Moorestown, New Jersey home for over a year. It was listed at $3.4 million which was reportedly $500,000 less than he bought it for. Now it's even more of a steal at $2.96 million. The listing is here.
--Burt Reynolds has had his Florida home on the market for over a year and keeps dropping the price. We'll check it out as the estate of the day later today.
--A home in London where JM Barrie is believed to have written Peter Pan is still on the market for £6.75 million the same price it was at when it was our estate of the day last January.
--How's this for a price reduction? Suzanne Somers's Palm Springs home was listed for $35 million this time last year when we covered it as an estate of the day. It's still on the market for a mere $14.9 million.
--Jermaine Dupri listed a five-bedroom home in Atlanta, Georgia for $1.5 million in February. It's still on the market but now at $1.6 million. The listing is here.
--Harvey Fierstein's Brewster, New York home is still listed at the same price for a year, $749,900.
--Tommy Hilfiger's home in Greenwich, Connecticut which was listed at $27.9 million when we looked at it last February as an estate of the day is now down to $21.995 million.
--Baseball player Bobby Abreu's New York apartment at One Beacon Court is still for sale for the same price since last March, we'll check it out as an estate of the day later this week.
--Many Palm Beach, Florida homes sold fast this year. That's not the case with the home belonging to Allman Brothers drummer, Claude "Butch" Trucks, his home received a price chop from $4.8 million to $3.995 million back in March and it still hasn't sold.
--In another case of a sports player trying to sell a home in a city he no longer plays for, NBA Jason Richardson is still trying to sell his Oakland, California home. It was listed at $3.1 million back in March, it's still on the market at $2.6 million.
--A Gold Beach, Oregon home that we covered in January of last year as an estate of the day belongs to actor Gregory Harrison. It has sat on the market for over a year at the same $5.9 million listing price.
--Comedian Chris Tucker has been trying to sell this home in Tarzana, California for $4.8 million since April when it was our estate of the day. It's still on the market for the same price.
--In April Richard Gere put his apartment in painter/director Julian Schnabel's Palazzo Chupi on the market for $17 million. It is still listed but now for $15 million (Gere bought in for $12 million).
--In May Kathleen Turner dropped the price on Amagansett, N.Y. home to $5.9 million from $6.995 million. It's stayed put for the rest of the year.
--Aaron Kamin of the band The Calling placed a three-bedroom house in Studio City on the market for $1,199,999 in May. It has since been reduced to $1.079 million.
--Willem Dafoe's rubber house which we covered as an estate of the day in June, remains on the market at $850,000.

--Kelsey Grammer is trying to sell two Los Angeles houses he bought last year. One, his "fantastic flip" in Holmby Hills, we've mentioned before as an estate of the day, and he recently dropped $1 million off the price so that it now is listed at $18.9 million. The other, shown above, is in the Bel-Air neighborhood has recently been listed for $4.35 million. He bought the home for $4.05 million. The listing is here.
--A penthouse buyer at The Grand Madison, a Fifth Avenue development in Manhattan, is suing El-Ad Properties for $6.4 million claiming fraud and breach of contract.
--Greg Norman's ex-wife Laua Adrassy has picked up a home in New York's Hamptons for $7.55 million.

From the LA Times Hot Property:
--Musician Jakob Dylan has put his Los Angeles home on the market for $11 million. It's our estate of the day later today.
-- Model Cathleen Gallagher has just listed for $5.595 million a spec house in Pacific Palisades that she designed and developed. The solar-powered house is a three-story California Craftsman on the Las Lomas Bluffs. It has seven bedrooms plus a three-car garage. The property website is here.
--Russ Weiner, the founder of the Rockstar energy drink company is selling another piece of real estate. He dropped the price on his Sunset Strip area home by two million dollars. It is now listed at $2.995 million. The listing is here.
--Music and video producer John Diaz has put his home La Casa Moderna in the Mar Vista area on the market for $3.995 million. The listing is here.
--Are the Maloofs in financial trouble? They are certainly selling a lot of real estate. We heard about Joe Maloof's listing previously now comes news that his brother Phillip listed his Beverly Hills home at $16.995 million (the listing is here). His mother, Colleen, put her Beverly Hills home on the market in May, and it is listed at $10.995 million.

From the NY Observer's Manhattan Transfers:
--A two-year-old deed for Bravo chief Lauren Zalaznick's NYC co-op at the Stewart House in New York City shows that she and her husband paid $3.25 million.
--Bella Sapir, the ex-wife of billionaire Tamir Sapir just closed on a $8,895,000 penthouse at the new Veneto on East 53rd Street.
--Ramesh Singh, an executive at the huge Swiss-based bank UBS, who now has two huge Park Avenue apartments on the market-both listed at enormous discounts. His apartment at 860 Park Avenue has been cut to $9.5 million down from $13.4 million, and his 15-room duplex at 823 Park Avenue is listed at $19.95 million down from $24.75 million.
--New York City's most expensive listing, the $80 million penthouse at Fifteen Central Park West, has come off the market but an 18th-floor duplex in the building is quietly for sale for $75 million.

From the NY Post's Gimme Shelter:
--Tommy Hilfiger has rented a quadraplex apartment in a 12-story condo building that was formerly owned by Sean "Diddy" Combs. He is paying around $50,000 per month for a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom apartment located on Park Avenue in the mid-70s.
--Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber might not be moving into One Madison Park, where they were in contract to buy two apartments. Watts has been spotted checking out a three-bedroom duplex at 79 Laight St., a TriBeCa building known as the Sugar Warehouse, with a $5.3 million asking price.
--The apartment that Bella Sapir recently bought for $8.9 million is now back on the market for $13.5 million. The listing is here.
--Erin Callan, the former Lehman Brothers CFO is in contract to buy a new condo at 40 E. 66th St. She is said to be paying between $7.5 million and $8 million for a three-bedroom apartment.

A 6,000-square-foot Georgian mansion in Syosset, New York that was built in 1928, was once the centerpiece of a 110-acre summer estate owned by William Kennedy, president of one of New York City's largest construction companies. Now the home is on over two acres and is listed at $2.199 million.
--Former New York Jet Vinny Testaverde has cut the price on his Oyster Bay Cove home to $4.6 million. It was listed at $6.495 million when it was our estate of the day earlier this year.
Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate is holding a grand open house at a new home in Sag Harbor on November 14. It will include a wine and cheese pairing and a fine art photography installation. The home is on the market for $2,995 million.

--Nicholas Cage has listed his private island, Leaf Cay, in the Exuma Island chain in the Bahamas for sale for $7 million.
--via Page Six, Jeremy Piven is staying at The Atelier while he is in New York doing Speed the Plow.
--The Real Estalker checks out the home that teenage actress Hayden Panettiere picked up earlier this year for $2.635 million.
--Lance Bass has relisted his Beverly Hills post office mansion. This will be our estate of the day on Monday.
--Rumor has it that British pop star Robbie Williams backed out of the $15,000,000+ contract he signed for a house in Beverly Park.
--Simon and Tamra Barney of The Real Housewives of Orange County have listed their home in Ladera Ranch, California for $1.59 million. The listing is here.

--A home owned by music producer and drummer Michael Blakey in the Beverly Hills post office area has been reduced to $2.995 million down from an original asking price of $4.695 million. The listing is here.
--Another round of which celebrity owns this house. The Brentwood house in question is listed for $11 million.
--A vintage Spanish-style house in Bel-Air that was built for silent film actress Colleen Moore is now on the market for $18.95 million. The property also is available for rent for $45,000 a month. The listing is here.
