Kron by KronKron Ruffle Booties

It's a treat to find shoes that are unique and comfortable. Kron by KronKron definitely fits the bill. Store owners and design couple, Hugrún Árnadóttir and Magni Þorsteinsso, head up the Iceland based company KronKron. They're known to create offbeat and playful shoes by combining colors and textures that many may stray away from, but in the few years that they have been in the shoe business, this quality has set them apart from the rest.

Although we've featured one of their understated pairs, these are just as beautiful as and probably more wearable than its colorful counterparts. Made of suede and leather and minimally accented with ruffles all along the vamp and circling around to the back, I especially liked the unexpected dose of beige at the toe. It features a cone heel and a front zippered pull tassel. You could wear them paired with a summer dress for evenings out and it's versatile enough to carry you into autumn with well tailored pants, a great fitting blouse, and a scarf. Originally selling for $480, they are on sale at Kisan Concept Store for only $240.

Kate Spade Jungle Dot Lucille Dress

We've already featured a wide assortment of dresses to get you excited for the Spring Season, but we couldn't help to feature this one by Kate Spade. The Jungle Dot Lucille Dress ($445) is a departure from your typical Spring pastel colored and floral attire and uses colors more commonly associated with the Fall. The ink blot pattern is sparsely scatted at the top with a heavy concentration towards the hem allowing for otherwise dark and heavy colors to still exude the light and airy feeling of Spring. I'm especially in love with the cascading ruffle neckline. It's a dramatic accent but doesn't disrupt from a classic silhouette. The Jungle Dot Lucille Dress is made from a combination of silk dupioni and cotton twill and, my favorite feature, a hidden button at the center front allowing you to either cover up your cleavage and be conservative or leave unbutton and be ultra sexy.

Kate Spade Grosgrain Plisse Priti Tote, Handbag of the Day

Ruffles and pleats are simple accents that can quickly add depth and texture to clothing and accessories. And it appears that the designers at Kate Spade took that to the extreme. The Grossgrain Plisse Priti Tote ($355) features folded pintuck detailing throughout making it seem as though this bag put on a ruffled skirt before you take it out around the town. With all of its pleating/ruffles and dainty chain shoulder straps, it holds a whimsical and lady-like feel. This would be a fun alternative to your typical work bag. The interior features a zip and double slide pockets with enough room for files and personal items. It also features an exterior top zipper closure. Measurements: 12.9"h x 13.6"w x 3.1.

When it comes to Christian Louboutin, I immediately think of high heeled red sole shoes. I never think of flats. Honestly I didn't even realize that Mr. Louboutin even made flats until I found myself browsing through Saks Fifth Avenue. The Adona flats are not your ordinary flats.
