Ritz-Carlton Announces Rose Island Resort

A new Ritz-Carlton hotel has
been announced. The latest Ritz will be an exclusive resort on Rose Island, four miles off Nassau and Paradise Island
in the Bahamas. The Ritz-Carlton Rose Island
will be part of a 230-acre area including estates, condos and a marina for yachts. The new resort will offer a high
level of privacy and luxury Guests of the hotel and homeowners will arrive at Rose Island by helicopter or ferry. The
hotel will be on the west side of the island with a north-facing beach. The guestrooms will average 500 square feet and
will have large balconies and the hotel will include a spa and gourmet restaurant. The resort is scheduled to open in
2009.
