Laurence Fishburne is the New Voice of Cadillac
Filed under: Luxury Cars & Autos
He may be best known for his role as Morpheus in the Matrix movie trilogy, but Laurence Fishburne is about to become attached to another franchise: Cadillac. The American luxury automaker has just announced a new deal with the actor to become the face and (extraordinarily deep) voice of the brand. The campaign entitled "Red-Blooded Luxury" will kick off on January 1 with a commercial aired during the Rose Bowl.
Cadillac vehicles – including the CTS sedan and Escalade SUV – were incidentally used in the filming of Matrix movies, Fishburne's character alternately riding in and blowing them up. The commercials will presumably be kinder to GM's luxury offerings.
