Kate Bosworth Collaborates on JewelMint Monthly Jewelry Club
Filed under: Jewelry
Kate Bosworth is the celebrity face behind a new costume jewelry site that uses the "push shopping" concept to attract customers to monthly deals. JewelMint, from social shopping company BeachMint, has a subscription model. Those who pay $29.99 each month can pick out one piece of jewelry designed by Bosworth and her stylist Cher Coulter (if you don't see anything one month you can skip a month). Each subscriber completes a style quiz that helps JewelMint tailor its monthly jewelry selections to each person. The designs will sell for 70 percent off of retail prices. Check out JewelMint for videos with Bosworth and Coulter explaining how it works and showing off more pieces from the collections. As TechCrunch noted, ShoeDazzle, which is promoted by Kim Kardashian, has a similar model. Will be push shopping be the new private sale with a bunch of brands flooding the marketplace?
