In addition to the beautiful
Eterna Heritage Super KonTiki 1973 throw-back watch that
Eterna released this year, they will also release this Heritage Pulsometer Chronograph watch. Based on a classic pulsometer (pulse measuring watch) from the mid 20th century. While updated in size and technology a bit, the base look of the classic Pulsometer Chronograph is retained - complete with curious green and blue color tones on the dial. Pulsometer watches make good gifts or purchases for discerning doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals. The steel case (love those classic looking pushers and crown), is sized here at 42mm wide with a sapphire crystal, and is water resistant to 50 meters.
As the original came out around 1942, this limited edition watch will be limited to 1,942 pieces. Movement is a Swiss ETA 2894-2 automatic, that has had the chronograph hours subdial removed. The watch is a bit pricey for such a niche piece at 3,950 Swiss Francs - though the quality and attention to detail on the watch are good. Look for the Eterna Heritage Pulsometer Chronograph limited edition watch out soon.
