Bourgie Lamp
Black lights are often only put to use around Halloween, but this particular rendition of the concept - an entirely black light, as opposed to a black light bulb - is suitable for year-round use. The Bourgie Lamp was designed by Ferruccio Laviani for Kartell. Though it at first appears to be a fairly traditional baroque-style lamp, it is made out of high-quality, transparent polycarbonate, so the light shines through the entire piece. If black just isn't your thing, the lamp is also available in clear. In either color, the height of the lamp can be adjusted to 27, 29 or 31 inches. Price: $287.
