The iconic pony that serves as Polo Ralph Lauren's logo is one of the most recognizable images in the world of luxury goods. No surprise, then, that Polo Ralph Lauren is a Luxist nominee for best fragrance.
Polo by Ralph Lauren and the company's other fragrances are just part of a sprawling line of lifestyle goods spanning clothing, accessories, housewares, and even a few forays into the world of multimedia-including RL Magazine, a luxury living publication, and RL TV, an online trove of celebrity interviews, fashion show videos, and visual exposés of the good life.
Produced under license by L'Oreal, Ralph Lauren's portfolio of fragrances has grown in recent years to include an array of new scents, including Double Black for men (2.5 oz: $52.50) and Notorious for women (2.5 oz: $75). Polo Explorer (2.5 oz: $49.50) even comes in a chunky canister that looks more like a rugged water bottle than an eau de toilette. All are available at Ralph Lauren stores and online, and in many major department stores.
