Here's one more handbag from the end-of-the-year sales. The Paul Smith Polka Dot Leather Clutch has a vintage look due to the combination of the white-on-black polka dots and the slightly old-fashioned gathers of the clutch at the border of the large frame. This is accentuated further with the small, contrasting brown leather buckle detail at the front. It is saved from looking too old by high quality leather and a magnetic snap closure hidden within the frame. It would look great with a nice, fitted pair of jeans. Dots Then Dot Rug

The Dots Then Dot Rug is part of Van Der Hurd Studio's Follow the Dots collection, which seems to have been inspired by dots, drops and all the different ways that they can be showcased. Even in this simple pattern, you can see how the arrangement of the dots leads the eye from side to side, following them around. The rug is hand-knotted and made of 100% wool. Its muted tones will add some color to a room, but will not be obvious or detract from other design elements. It measures 6' x 9', but custom sizes are available. Price: $5,500.
