Photo of Yeti Footprint Sold for £3,500

Do believe in the yeti? The infamous "Abominable Snowman?" I'm more than a little skeptical, but I can still get on board with this photo that sold at Christie's in London last week for £3,500 because it looks like a fun conversation piece.

The Abominable Snowman is in the same league as Bigfoot and the Lochness Monster, but art and photography don't always have to be about truth or some kind of deep meaning -- sometimes pure entertainment is reason enough to value something.

But I have to say, doesn't this look the footprint of a large teddy bear? Big round toes, no claws or anything...maybe it was just that friendly "Bumble" from Rudolf the Red Nosed Reindeer?

Hani Rashid Picture Frame

It seems as the more and more photos are going digital, and s a result of this, digital photo frames are clearly the way of the future when it comes to convenient home photo displays. That being said, it is hard to beat the quality of a really good nondigital photo and there are always friends and family members who will appreciate the extra care that when into producing them - not to mention the fact that there are many nondigital frames that are just too gorgeous to pass up. Designed for Alessi, Hani Rashid's modern picture frame is an elegant way to display these photos. It is made of stainless steel and appears to have been split apart at the base to support the rest of the frame. Price: €63.90 ($83.76).

Doggie PhotoTreats

I've seen plenty of cakes and cookies that get pictures printed onto edible icing. They're a huge hit at birthday parties, weddings, etc. I've never seen the technique used on doggie treats before, but that is precisely what they do at My Dog's Bakery. Doggie PhotoTreats are customized with the name and photo of your dog on each biscuit. They come in Salmon and Roast Beef & Potato flavors, made using all-natural ingredients and the piped-on frosting includes carob, not chocolate. The pricing is $4 for one, $10 for 3 and $16 for 6. The bakery also mentions on their website that they plan to introduce doggie-friendly cakes.

Of course, the company says that the art is for your dog, but I think we can all agree that it's really for the owner. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but Fido cares more about the taste of the cookies than what they look like.

Brangelina Baby Pic Sold for $4.9M

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have reportedly sold the rights to the first picture of their as-yet-unborn child for $4.9 million (£2.6 million) to an unnamed American weekly magazine. The money will be donated to the children's charity, UNICEF. Knowing that the paparazzi are likely to try to snap pictures of the baby as soon after it is born as possible, the couple "figured they might as well use the opportunity of one child being born to help a lot of others." Angelina's due date is supposed to be in early June.
